Positive development of economic relations and further economic reforms caused the increasing interest, particularly of medium size businesses, to the Russian market. In order to satisfy the growing demand for information and competent advice shown by interested companies, the Facilitation Center of German-Russian Cooperation launched its operation in February, 2001. The initiators of this unique PublicPrivatePartnership in Germany are Dusseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia area, Dusseldorf Chamber of Commerce, Dusseldorf Trade Fair, and Russian-German Chamber of Commerce. The participants successfully combine their activity in the Russian Federation and serve to all concerned enterprises as a starting-point for development of business relations with Russia.

Services provided by the Center:

• Consulting and support of German companies when establishing business contacts with Russia 
• Regular arrangement of conferences, seminars and workshops with focus on present-day issues and problems of German-Russian economic relations   
• Providing information about exhibitions and other events  
• Support of German internal initiatives  
• Arrangement of contacts for Russian companies interested in establishing business relations with Germany  
• Publishing informational materials and publications
